BREATHWORK
Breathwork is an active meditation practice that can help reduce stress and anxiety while enhancing mental clarity. The breath is a transformative instrument that allows you to open your heart, lead you to your authentic self, and create opportunities for profound healing.
This form of active meditation helps to shift stagnant energy, release stress, unprocessed trauma, anger, fear, or sadness. It can restore balance, calm the mind, deepen your spiritual connection, and help you feel grounded.
How Does it Work?
What we're doing is infusing the body with oxygen, which gently awakens the hypothalamus and vagus nerve. This process activates the parasympathetic and autonomic systems, allowing the body to naturally heal, regenerate, and release any stagnant energy. It's normal for emotions to arise during this practice, as they are energy in motion. Embrace these emotions and surrender to the experience.
Think of it as quieting the ego and clearing the thinking mind, creating space for profound change within the subconscious. As oxygen flows and revitalizes the body, it also stimulates the pineal gland--gaining clear insights into your soul and infinite intelligence.
This breathwork modality holds remarkable potential. It's not just a placebo; the changes it brings are lasting. Though every experience is unique, I have seen people heal from chronic conditions in a single session. To fully benefit, try to let go and allow the healing to unfold. If it's your first time, start with a shorter session as it can be intense. For longer sessions, remember to integrate and adjust your breath as needed. Trust your intuition and the experience that emerges. I continually return to breathwork in my own life and incorporate it into the services I offer for its deep, transformative insights and healing.
